Reckoning

When my reckoning conflicts with the opponent’s, one side or the other will have to crumple – for one is built on a flimsy straw foundation. Who wants it more? There will be no mercy. If they think they can roll with the punches, they haven’t tasted a champion’s haymaker.

“Engage people with what they expect; it is what they are able to discern and confirms their projections. It settles them into predictable patterns of response, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment — that which they cannot anticipate.”

Fog of War

I’m always willing to help out allies in their battles. Why do I not let anyone join me in the trenches? Less of both our resources would be wasted. It would be a relief to let someone else be the hero for once. Too bad that’s rarely the case. Why do people slow down when they enter the fog?

“When you surround an army, leave an outlet free. Do not press a desperate foe too hard.”

A critical error. Is my army actually desperate?

“Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.”

“Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.”

What are the chances of lightning striking the same place twice?

“One may know how to conquer without being able to do it. ”

What do I know? What can I do?

“To see victory only when it is within the ken of the common herd is not the acme of excellence.”

I’ve noticed I tend to say, “I see.” Often, however, I’m actually blind, and it’s usually when the answer is something simple. After all, if the answer is a(in) plain cite doesn’t that mean I’m stating the obvious and wasting my words? What can I see?

C&C

So many C’s. Command and conquer. There is only victory in my visions.

“What is essential in war is victory, not prolonged operations.”

Don’t be afraid to end the war and do not gloat before a victory. See and seize it.

True.

I’ve got my q back and I couldn’t feel (think?) better.

Juice Factory

“Juice factory. When you squeeze a lemon, lemon juice comes out. If you squeeze garbage, then..yeah. What will happen when you are squeezed?”
